Molteni&C Kitchen

In the world of design, truly classic works seem to possess an immortal soul.

The Ratio kitchen system created by designer Vincent Van Duysen for Molteni&C Dada is like a piece of art, continuously unveiling new brilliance over time. This material exploration is akin to a profound spiritual journey; the texture of black oak resembles a tranquil night, while the black lava stone countertop whispers the earth's deep and powerful voice.

The design of Ratio retains a distinct architectural language, with each element finding its place in this grand design feast. Metal grids form the framework of the base, wall units, columns, hoods, and accessories, allowing each element to shine within. The interplay of solid and empty spaces, along with worktops of varying thicknesses, are skillfully hooked onto slender and minimal structural elements, creating an elegant dialogue of shapes and forms.

The choice of materials always seeks warmth and Mediterranean character. From refined oak to the new Breccia Capraia natural stone, each piece, with its beautiful dark textures, makes every worktop, backsplash, or shelf unique. Additionally, Ratio introduces base units with louvered doors and internal lighting. The handles are outlined by profiles of the same thickness, forming a decorative frame that injects rhythm and cadence into the structure.
