Sunrise

"Sunrise" is a real estate reception center project from late 2021, located in Nangang, Taipei. This project differs from the impression of previous reception centers. The exterior of the building, made of glass and wood, has a natural atmosphere and is the first attempt by the advertising agency to break away from the traditional conventions. Several entities working together shaped the reception center. The exterior of the building was planned by OASIStudio, the interior space was planned by ST Design Studio, and the overall soft furnishing design was created by Appara. On this occasion, ST Design Studio's designer Tsai Si Li shared the process of designing the interior layout.

 

Regarding the origin of the design, Szuti revealed the overall goal was to create a memorable space beyond the sense of decoration. Therefore, from the glassy and lightweight exterior of the building to the interior, from the association of the wooden barn imagery to the integration of the social behavior of the salon, the aim is to create a free and relaxed social hall, allowing the behavior to occur naturally. The first floor features a parking lot and a reception room, the second floor serves as the main reception and sales area, and the third floor houses the actual products and a semi-outdoor viewing area.

 

When entering the reception room on the first floor, the white color provides customers with a sense of crispness. Walking upstairs along the wooden wall with a sense of time, one comes to the reception area filled with beige tones, where the light and elegant colors of the matte surface are relaxing. Upon entering the sales area with glass partitions, the warmth of the wooden walls, tables, and chairs with green plants echoes the relaxing street scene outside the window, conveying a vacation-like atmosphere and settling the mind. In addition, a semi-outdoor balcony space is reserved at the bottom of the second floor, with wooden flooring and cobblestones to create a garden-like relaxation while selling, overlooking Taipei 101 and feeling the flow of the city, which effectively realizes the connection between space, architecture, and the environment from the inside out.

Reception Center

The interior color and material plan utilizes low-color mineral paint and recycled pine wood to combine texture and an elegant sedimentary atmosphere. "A painting in the right place can supplant many items," remarks Szuti of the arches, old urns, and paintings in the space, resembling cotton and iron balls, rendering the entire wall with a single detail creating a corner end view. In summary, the real estate reception center is a function-oriented space that aims at sales. Under Szuti's design arrangement, the structure of the area becomes a background, imbuing a kind of vibe to the ongoing activities, just as Wabisabi accomplishes a scene with consciousness, transcending the conventional, enabling all visitors to experience a moment distinct from their daily lives.

「日出」一案為2021年底,座落台北南港的房產接待中心。此案和以往接待中心給人的印象有些不同,以玻璃和木質調構成的建築外觀有著自然氣息,是廣告公司企圖跳脫傳統窠臼的初試啼聲。

 

而一座接待中心的成形,是由許多單位分工合作所完成。建築外觀由常式建築師事務所規劃,ST Design Studio規劃室內空間,整體軟裝設計則是由Appara打造而成。本次則由ST Design Studio蔡思棣設計師分享規劃室內設計的過程。

談起設計起源,思棣分享整體目標是要跳脫裝修感,打造有記憶點的空間氛圍。因此,由玻璃清透、輕量的建築外觀開始延伸到室內,從充滿木質的穀倉意象聯想,到融入具有社交行為的沙龍場合,旨在創造一個自由、放鬆的交誼廳,讓行為自然而然地產生。一樓是停車場與迎賓室,二樓為主要接待銷售的場域,三樓為實品屋和半戶外觀景區。

走入一樓迎賓室,白色調為顧客帶來清爽感,沿著帶有時間感的木牆上樓,來到充滿米色調的接待區,霧面質地的淡雅色調令人放鬆,當走入玻璃隔間的洽談室,木質牆面、桌、椅的溫潤搭配綠色植栽,同時呼應窗外悠悠街景,傳遞出渡假般休閒氛圍,沈澱了心靈。且二樓底端保留一處半戶外陽台空間,以木地板搭配鵝卵石營造庭園般的閒情逸致,在銷售之餘,遠眺台北101感受城市的流動,實際體現由內而外地連結空間、建築和環境。

 

室內空間的色彩和材料計畫,利用低彩度礦物塗料、回收松木揉合蘊含肌理、雅緻的沉澱氣息。「一個畫在一個對的地方,可以取代許多東西」思棣說著空間裡的圓拱、老甕、畫作,似是棉花與鐵球,以小搏大,一個細節便能渲染整片牆面,創造一隅角落的端景。綜觀而言,房產接待中心是以功能為導向,目的在於銷售的空間,在思棣的設計安排下,空間化為背景,為活動正在進行中場域賦予一種精神(vibe),就如侘寂以意識成就場域,跳脫既往,使所有來訪的人都能擁有與日常生活不同的片刻。
