The Reflection and Flow of Light

With a primitive texture of black iron, the space is paired with gray brick walls instead of painting to respond to the homeowner's desire for a characterful, industrial design style. Based on industrial styling, the overall design utilizes the pure ruggedness of the materials themselves to create a richer dramatic tension.

An L-shaped opening was built for the living room, with a black iron cabinet in the center to display books and art collections, showcasing the taste of the homeowners' family life. The black iron cabinet also serves as a flexible partition wall that responds to the structural beams. It eliminates the oppressive feeling. Glass doors on both sides of the cabinet lead to the multi-functional bedroom and storage room at the back. It brings changes to the interior, dividing the space while still penetrating the light and shadows to bring out the advantages of the space itself.

The gray brick walls and iron cabinets are connected by art paint to form a family background. The unique handmade texture of the paint exudes its personality under light and shadow. The open kitchen also features a special glass showcase with a square glass door that houses many coffee-making utensils and small household appliances. In contrast, the kitchen island connects to the dining table, allowing for a smooth juxtaposition of meal preparation and dining space, harboring the family's daily life.

The master bedroom similarly utilizes wood, art paint, and iron materials to create a relaxing atmosphere. The rocky TV tile wall echoes the natural texture of the wood grain wall. It connects the semi-open bathroom space, while the bathroom sink features herringbone tiles to create a vintage flavor and accent the industrial style of the house. This design is also applied to the other bathroom space. The mottled white tiles on the edges show the haloed colors of the ages and are paired with different patterned tiles. Added to the overall style and add a vintage and refined emotion to the small places that are otherwise unnoticeable.

Despite the industrial style of the home, there is one room with a different atmosphere. The children's room is decorated with the natural texture of the original wood and a colorful rock climbing wall, providing a playful element for the children to enjoy their time at home.

光映流轉

空間裡運用黑鐵的原始質感，不做噴漆、烤漆處理，搭配灰色磚牆以回應屋主希望很有個性、帶有工業風的設計風格。整體設計從材質本身純粹的粗獷感，在工業風格這個基礎上，創造更豐富的戲劇張力。

客廳是一個開放的L型空間，中心佇立著一道黑色鐵件架構而成的方格櫃體，展示書本、藝術收藏，看見屋主一家人生活的味道。而此道黑色鐵櫃作為空間核心，體現出了多重的設計意涵，除了具有展示的基本功能之外，也是順應結構梁位而生的彈性間隔牆設計，櫃體兩側以玻璃門分別通往後方多功能臥室與儲藏室，消除梁位的壓迫感，為室內帶來虛實變化，區隔空間，同時仍穿透光影，發揮出空間本身的優勢條件。
