At En Kyanó, every day unfolds beneath this quietly surreal scenery, where nature gently washes over you. For those accustomed to the rhythms of city life, such moments feel like a rare luxury. Tucked into a tranquil valley along the southwestern coast of Mykonos, En Kyanó offers both seclusion and convenience—a place apart, yet never remote. Conceived by Thomas Heyne, co-founder of Scorpios, this private villa was envisioned as a retreat that merges conscious living, wellness, and quiet introspection. The name En Kyanó is derived from the Greek word "κυανό" (kyanó), meaning “blue”—yet here, it refers not only to color but to a sensory convergence. It’s the blue of memory, of soft waves and expansive skies, inviting guests to relearn stillness, to dwell in presence.
Rooted in Cycladic tradition and softened by modernist restraint, En Kyanó draws its architectural language from both heritage and contemporary clarity. Designed by architects D. Sakelariou and M. Seitanidis in collaboration with StudioMacBride and creative direction by Lambs and Lions, the villa comprises two distinct volumes connected by a light, airy pergola. Beneath it, a shaded courtyard unfolds—serving as the social and contemplative heart of the property.
Step inside and the mood immediately shifts. A sense of calm pervades the interiors, shaped by a material palette that favors authenticity and elemental tactility: natural lime plaster, locally sourced stone, smoked oak, and sandblasted travertine. These surfaces anchor the space in simplicity and quiet elegance. Thoughtfully curated furniture, textiles, and artworks by Lambs and Lions and Annabell Kutucu introduce an understated richness—never ornamental, always intentional. Each object seems to breathe with the rhythm of the house. Beyond aesthetic refinement, En Kyanó is also home to a suite of wellness offerings. Personalized programs and curated treatments reflect the retreat’s ethos: design not only as physical environment, but as a vessel for renewal. Every element is calibrated toward rest, reflection, and a return to one’s own rhythm.

As Heyne himself describes it: “En Kyanó is the physical expression of what I long for.
