Love by the Moon

From two modest grocery shops in the center of Kyiv, HE.D Group has reconfigured and transformed the site into a women’s fashion boutique. Drawing inspiration from the brand identity of Love by the Moon, the interior is imbued with a refined, natural elegance.
LBTM STUDIOS emphasizes the use of natural materials and timeless silhouettes that celebrate the enduring strength of femininity. Guided by this ethos, the design team sought to create a retail environment that tells a story. The original advantages of the site—a generous ceiling height and expansive storefront glazing—were preserved, bringing daylight deep into the interior and blurring the threshold between indoors and out. The result is a space that feels open and inviting. Walls in soft beige tones are paired with calm wooden elements, producing an earthy palette that conveys warmth and vitality. To maintain transparency while accommodating function, mirrored and fabric screens create subtle partitions, ensuring privacy for the fitting rooms while preserving a lounge-like quality in the display area. Through careful planning and detailing, what was once a purely commercial program has been reimagined as a place capable of fostering emotional resonance.

Inside, curved and rounded forms recur throughout, softening the architecture and introducing a delicate visual rhythm. Wall paneling, doors, and bespoke furniture incorporate undulating lines and organic motifs, recalling the patterns of plants or water droplets. The design is complemented by mirrored screens, three jellyfish-inspired chandeliers, upholstered seating, and woven rugs. Together, these elements contribute to a layered lighting scheme and a rich tactile experience, balancing a contemporary sensibility with echoes of classicism.
A final touch lies in the quiet corners that lend intimacy to the boutique: a vintage chair paired with an antique table lamp by the window forms a small reading nook, while antique tableware and simple ceramic vases on the coffee table introduce an understated domesticity. These details shift the atmosphere from transactional retail to a more personal encounter, allowing visitors to relax, linger, and immerse themselves in the pleasure of selecting garments within a setting that feels both distinctive and serene.
