星環誕生記——下浩老街舊建築更新
國家地理描述下浩為“重慶最後的老街”，在來福士廣場、東水門大橋等“城市巨構物”的對比下，成為城市裡最後的記憶港灣。網絡時代將社會碎片化，被科技與虛擬世界割裂的年輕人，精神上卻向往著回憶中的故鄉。我們在尋找一處帶有時間溫暖印記的實體空間，來容納孤獨精神宇宙中遊蕩徘徊的年輕靈魂。
XiaHao Lane is "The last old street in Chongqing" described by National Geographic Magazine. In contrast to Chongqing Raffles City Square, DongShuiMen Bridge and other massive "urban mega-structure", seems to have become the last harbor between the virtual and reality in the city. The Internet age has fragmented the society. Young people who are separated and alienated by technology and the virtual world yearn for a hometown with memories in spirit. We are looking for a physical space with the warm imprint of time to accommodate the wandering young souls in the lonely spiritual universe.
我們立足於下浩的老山城文化本身，用來自未來的技術重新想象過去，並由此創造一個從未發生的過去，復原往昔的技術夢想。在 “8D魔幻城市” 的未來感與老山城的懷舊感碰撞下，我們期望以“復古太空”的手法，將具有未來科技感的星環與下浩老街產生戲劇性對比，讓來訪者在感受時代變遷的過程中，主動回首過去對未來的想象。
We base on the mountain-city culture of XiaHao lane here, reimagine the past with the technology represent the future, and thus create a past that has never happened to restore the technological dream of the past. In the collision sense of future and history in this "8D Magic City" mountain city, we hope to borrow the concept of retro-futurism to create a dramatic contrast between the “outer-space invasion” star ring and the old district XiaHao Lane, so that visitors can re-experience the past space and re-imagine the description of the future in the past time.

同時，對於老街來說，新的到訪者帶來了更年輕化的新事物，融入咖啡與年輕的品牌設計，展開文化、藝術與創意的交流。城市更新不僅僅在於對物質的翻新，更重要的是為老空間注入當代的文化和內容，新的“居民”會為老城注入新鮮的血液。項目屬於歷史建築保護街區，每一個老房子都有其人文歷史價值，我們在設計之初就定下“置入”的策略而非改變和破壞。讓現代文化與歷史人文產生對話是本次設計的初衷。
On the other hand, for the old district environment, new visitors bring new and young stuffs. This space now integrated with new café, new branding culture and architectural design office, to expand the communication of art, aesthetics, culture and music. Urban Renewal is not only the renovation of the materiality, but more importantly, it is to inject modern activities and culture into the old space. New visitors will bring fresh blood to the old district. The project located in the historical building conservation area, and we believe that each old building has its own cultural and historical value. At the beginning of the design process, we set the strategy of "inserting" rather than replacing or destroying. The original intention is to make a conversation between the modern culture and the spirit of history.
環形構築物的靈感來源於包圍行星的星環，將院子與建築的空間融合，增強項目場域感，成為整個空間的精神圖騰。新建的星環結構與原有的三顆樹木形成“退讓”與“圍合”的關係，將周圍植被融於設計主體之中，打造可持續發展的空間環境，展現與自然環境的良性過渡。
The annular structure is inspired by the star ring surrounding the planets, which integrates the space of yard and old building, enhance the field of the project and to become the spiritual symbol of the surrounding areas. The new star-ring installation and the three original trees form a relationship between "concession" and "enclosure", integrating greenery into the design to create a sustainable environment and a gentle transition from the nature to the artificial structure.
從地面延續到吧台立面的火山岩磚，材質本身特有的空洞肌理呼應了整個場地的自然山地氛圍，質樸舒適。粗淺的質感和牆面水泥的自然處理，旨在讓人聯想到此處舊城的歷史記憶。
The lava stone tiles extended from the ground to the bar counter, the unique texture with small holes of the material echoes the natural mountainous atmosphere of the site, which is simple and comfortable. The rough texture and natural cement surfacing of wall are designed to evoke the memory of the old buildings here.
