Through House is a meticulously designed residence for a billiards-loving doctor and his two daughters. They desired to leave the city for a tranquil life in San Fernando, Pampanga, Philippines. This building is situated within a gated community of flat land plots, and two walls were removed to create a more continuous space.
The outdoor boundaries on the ground floor are defined by fence walls mandated by community regulations. The entrance is aligned with the concrete fence, providing space for planting and offering views of the setback area and the rear wall. The living room offers expansive views of the outdoors, with the front lawn and dining area situated on either side. The double-height dining hall allows airflow through the windows in the second-floor hallway. A continuous bench design integrates with the swimming pool, creating a relaxing area and enhancing the sense of expansiveness in the living room and the adjacent room.
