As its name implies ("kvik" means "quick" in Danish), the brand fulfills its promise through technological innovation. 而 KVIK 的存在正是為了挑戰舊有模式,以主張全新銷售思維。這一切源於創辦人 Knud Boel Troelsen 長年觀察、傾聽顧客心聲,由於早期皆依照訂單設計製造,缺乏標準流程與模組,難以單憑技術提高整體出貨效率,導致漫長的交貨期,其昂貴價格也令人怯步。然而,他堅信這件事可以被改善,於是 1983 年在丹麥成立,品牌反轉過去認為只有訂製家具才能實現理想空間典型的誤解,憑藉精準規劃開發各式尺寸,能靈活運用於多元設計需求與布局,使所有品項均於丹麥倉儲中保有充足庫存,免除等待時間成為滿足理想的阻礙。由此可知,品牌巧善運用組織管理,使生產模式更有效率,並非盲目趕工而犧牲品質代價。

 

 

 

KVIK was born from a desire to upend industry norms. Founder Knud Boel Troelsen, after years of listening to customers frustrated by inefficiencies in bespoke kitchen production, launched the company in 1983 with a new vision: that great design shouldn't require custom fabrication or long delays. By developing a full spectrum of preconfigured sizes, KVIK offers maximum flexibility while maintaining high warehouse stock in Denmark. This operational intelligence—not rushed mass production—enables the brand to fulfill kitchen dreams without delay, and without sacrificing quality.

在斯堪地那維亞的語境中「Lagos」意即「恰到好處」。KVIK 延續這種精神,將極簡整合功能性,使丹麥設計的精神自然地融入居家場域,從簡練輪廓便可感受所蘊含低調、優雅的氣息,其飾面天然紋理便是自然純粹的符號,給予日常情境平凡的幸福。若仔細端詳,無論是實木抑或是單板飾面,均採以可持續性FSC認證來源的材質,透過特殊 PET 箔膜包覆,創造其啞光及半啞光的柔和彩度,除了提升對耐用度的思考,免除殘留於表材指紋對整體視覺的影響,為使用者帶來更舒適的觸感,每一細節皆以體貼「行為」出發。

 

 

 

In the Scandinavian context, the word "Lagos" refers to something that is "just right." KVIK channels this philosophy into its products—where minimalism is married with functionality, and form follows the rituals of everyday life. From its precise silhouettes to its naturally textured finishes, every design speaks with quiet elegance. Whether using solid wood or sustainable FSC-certified veneers, surfaces are treated with PET foil to create soft matte or semi-matte tones that resist fingerprints and invite touch. Each detail, tactile or visual, is designed with empathy—for how people live and move within their kitchens.
 

 

 

 

 

「每個人都能擁有夢想中丹麥設計的廚房。」1999年 KVIK 推出「Sociable Kitchen 社交廚房」的概念,正是為了與家人親友共度美好時刻而設,移除了視線阻礙導入內建下吸式排油系統,提供即使於中島爐灶料理的你,也能一面享受烹煮樂趣,一面與坐在一旁的家人孩子互動,抑或輕鬆自在地與親友品酒暢談。至今仍積極與具國際知名度設計師、團隊合作,如SaysWho、Hans Thyge & Co、 Rikke Frost 等為其設計品項系列,在轉身之間,從外型簡練櫃體內嵌的咖啡機隨取兩杯拿鐵、烤箱飄散著手工餅乾的香氣,多元機能收整於洗鍊的設計中,舉手投足間盡是無比從容自在。

 

 

 

"Everyone deserves a Danish kitchen." This belief led KVIK to introduce the Sociable Kitchen concept in 1999—a layout designed to remove visual barriers and bring people together. With built-in downdraft extraction and an open island configuration, it allows for eye-level interaction while cooking. Whether preparing a meal or enjoying a glass of wine with guests, the kitchen becomes a fluid stage for connection. Today, KVIK continues to collaborate with internationally recognized designers and studios such as SaysWho, Hans Thyge & Co, and Rikke Frost, bringing fresh perspectives to its evolving product series. In the latest collection, streamlined cabinets discreetly house built-in coffee machines and ovens. With a simple gesture, two lattes are ready at hand, while the warm aroma of freshly baked cookies fills the room.
