A happy life does not depend on external conditions like luxurious houses, cars, or career achievements, nor on competing in a dazzling reality show of material possessions. Rather, it lies in grounding oneself, being close, free, and cherishing time with loved ones, nurturing peace within the ordinariness of life.

「就算幸福像水果，人們也需要幫助它好好的成長。」——阿蘭《論幸福》。幸福的人生，並非倚仗豪宅、房車、事業成就等外在條件，各自堆疊比拼的絢麗舞台實境秀，而是能沈澱自身，與親愛家人，既親近、自由又珍惜地，同在生活的平凡裡滋養安住。

於是，設計師唐忠漢在設計之初，便著迷於這座獨立別墅前的河岸。試想，在尋常時刻，家人能沿著河畔信步談天，而在家屋裡頭，也能以大開窗攬入河景，在日常生活中迎來自然的召喚。除此，設計師更添增戶外梯，讓人能直接走到地下樓室外花園，使人與自然能更為親近。

Therefore, at the beginning of the design process, designer TANG CHUNG HAN was captivated by the riverside in front of this independent villa. Imagine, during ordinary moments, family members could stroll along the riverbank, chatting, and inside the house, they could embrace the river view through large windows, unable to resist the call of nature. Moreover, the designer added an outdoor staircase, allowing direct access to the underground room's outdoor garden, fostering a closer connection with nature.

花園裡，沒有需要費盡心思看照的奇花異草，有的是 BBQ 烤肉區，再加上屋裡的大型沙發與中島，都能見到主人的熱情好客。「一個家對我們來講，除了家人們的愛，這裡面一定有酒，有肉，有音樂，有煙火氣。所以，屋主的廚房、社交、溝通都很重要。」唐忠漢認為，住宅設計「是圍繞著人生活的一切」。「從機能出發，真正了解業主的使用習慣」，是設計師的使命。

In the garden, there are no exotic flowers that require meticulous care. Instead, there is a BBQ area, complemented by the house's large sofa and central island, all reflecting the host's warm hospitality. “For us, a home is not just about the love of our family members. It must also have wine, meat, music, and a lively atmosphere. Therefore, the homeowner's kitchen, socializing, and communication are very important,” believes TANG CHUNG HAN. He views residential design as “centering around everything in a person's life.” “Starting from functionality and truly understanding the homeowner's habits” is the designer's mission.

於是，面對這個異地設計的作品，他能耐心了解、溝通出熨貼對方生活的成果，而非力求奪人目光的炫技。他巧妙安排生活動線，在自在流動與孤獨疏離之間，架設生活場域的最佳平衡。其中，屬於家人的餐桌，即打造溫馨的互動距離，讓人能隨時開啟一段親密私語。

Thus, facing this project in a foreign location, he patiently understands and communicates to tailor the design to fit the client's lifestyle, rather than seeking to dazzle with flashy techniques. He skillfully arranges the flow of life, striking the perfect balance between ease of movement and solitude. Among these, the family dining table is designed to create a warm interactive space, inviting intimate conversations at any time.

家屋是居住者心性精神的外顯模樣。打開隔間、變得空闊的空間，在明朗採光、潔淨色彩與材質選擇下，以及運用弧形設計，使整體更有大道至簡的雋永平靜。形式越簡單，設計考量越不簡單。大巧無工，源自成熟的思考與技藝成果，例如使用無需多餘分割堆疊的磐多魔，讓空間保有純粹質地。

The house is an external manifestation of the inhabitant's spirit and temperament. By opening up partitions to create a more expansive space, under the bright lighting, clean colors, and material selection, as well as the use of curved designs, the overall effect is one of profound simplicity and eternal tranquility. The simpler the form, the more complex the design considerations. True skill is not about intricate craftsmanship but arises from mature thought and technical achievements. For instance, using pandomo, which requires no extra segmentation or stacking, helps maintain the space's pure texture.

在這個能使一切張牙舞爪放鬆下來的空間，設計師更添增了藝術的感受氣息。從雕塑一般的優雅樓梯，到主人翁收藏的重要藝術創作，都為這個空間挹注了屬於當代的活力風采，讓居住者的個人色彩，更能在平凡日常中，透出特殊光芒。

In this space, where everything can unwind and relax, the designer has further infused a sense of artistry. From the sculptural elegance of the staircase to the significant art pieces collected by the homeowner, each element contributes contemporary vitality and flair to the space, allowing the residents' personal styles to shine through uniquely in their everyday lives.
