Light Trail     

本案位於城區中少有的高樓層建築，寬敞的臨接道路維持了與鄰樓的棟距，俯瞰車流往來，充滿人氣卻無喧囂；在落地窗邊眺望無際的夜空，遠方空軍機場軍機起降的光點，如同守護家園的火炬。樂於與人交往、熱愛自然的三口之家，在嶄新的空間中展開新的故事篇章，就如同星辰在長夜中記錄下時間的軌跡。

This project is located on one of the few high floors in the urban area. The spacious adjacent road maintains a distance from neighboring buildings, allowing a panoramic view of traffic flow without the hustle and bustle. Gazing at the boundless night sky by the floor-to-ceiling windows, the distant lights of military aircraft taking off and landing at the nearby airbase resemble torches guarding the home. The three-member family, who enjoys socializing and loves nature, embarks on a new chapter of their story in this brand-new space, just like stars that record the passage of time in the long night.

設計者運用空間的連續性與穿透感，為喜愛大自然、愛好露營活動的一家，帶來減壓、無拘束、適合放空與沉澱心靈的生活空間。入門玄關處，實心壓克力將光源重新凝聚後再發散成柔和光束，與層架共同形成光的水平軌跡，指引公共性與私密性空間的過道，也讓居住在次臥的孩子，即便在夜間單獨前往位於廚房後方的客浴也能感到心安；而間接照明以及帶狀光束的表現方式也構成了空間照明的基本調性。與正門相對的玄關櫃似若懸吊於空中，光透過櫃腳超白強化玻璃穿梭玄關與書房之間，櫃門上壓克力把手的色彩與鏤空龕格的陰影，則讓純白中更增添優雅的幾何表情，這樣的微表情也延伸到整個公共性空間中。

The designer uses the continuity and permeability of space to create a stress-relieving, unconstrained living space suitable for a family that loves nature and camping activities. At the entrance, solid acrylic gathers and diffuses light into soft beams, forming a horizontal trajectory of light with the shelves. This guides the passage between public and private spaces, providing a sense of security for the child residing in the secondary bedroom, even when independently going to the guest bathroom located behind the kitchen at night. The indirect lighting and the use of linear light strips establish the fundamental tone of spatial illumination. The entrance cabinet opposite the main door appears suspended in the air, and light passes through the ultra-clear strengthened glass feet of the cabinet, traversing between the entrance and the study. The color of the acrylic handle on the cabinet door and the shadow of the openwork niche add an elegant geometric expression to the pure white, which extends throughout the entire public space.

方正的公共性空間以三餘米長的餐桌為中心展開，原木桌板溫潤的手感承載一家熱絡的交流，銜接的中島餐櫃上部則以玻璃材質讓整體高度上達到餐食服務的方便性，同時維持了整個空間水平視線的一致性。客廳區不設固定沙發，家庭成員自然而然減少駐留電視前的時間，加寬的電視櫃兼具座椅機能，補足社交空間的需求，圍繞在落地窗前話家常，窗外無論是午後和煦的陽光或是夜晚靜謐的星空都是最佳氛圍。

The square-shaped public space unfolds with a 3-meter-long dining table at its center. The warm and smooth texture of the solid wood tabletop carries the lively conversations of the family. The supper part of the connected island counter, made of glass material, provides the convenience of food service while maintaining the visual consistency of the entire space. The living area does not have a fixed sofa, naturally reducing the time family members spend in front of the television. The widened TV cabinet serves as seating, fulfilling the need for social interaction. Gathered around the floor-to-ceiling windows, they engage in casual conversations, enjoying the gentle afternoon sunlight or the tranquil starry sky during the night, creating the perfect ambiance.
