Carl Hansen & Søn, founded in 1908 by Carl Hansen, began as a small cabinetry workshop. In 1934, his son Holger Hansen succeeded him and started collaborating with numerous renowned designers. In 2002, the third generation, Knud Erik Hansen, took the helm and expanded the brand internationally, reaching Japan, Europe, the US, Taiwan, and beyond. The world-renowned CH24 Y-Chair (Wishbone Chair) debuted in 1950, designed by Danish master Hans J. Wegner. His deep understanding of materials and craftsmanship is evident in the chair's graceful, flowing form. The rounded wooden armrests and solid Y-shaped backrest structure, paired with a handwoven paper cord seat, exemplify the intricate craftsmanship. The chair's sturdy yet delicate design fits seamlessly into any space, whether as a dining chair or a reading chair in a study.

Its elegant wooden mortise and tenon structure, combined with a unique double-layered handwoven paper cord seat, showcases the craftsmanship's purity. The slightly curved back legs add to its charm, making the CH23 an essential piece in any space, blending aesthetics with functionality.

與 CH24 Y-Chair, CH23 Chair 同年誕生的 CH25 休閒椅，以沉穩極簡的線條外型成為品牌值得收藏的經典之一。製作編織工法獨特，使用超過四百公尺的天然紙纖，採用手工雙線來回十字穿梭的方式製成。品牌強調，編織過程需要掌握密實的工序和力度，這是紙纖工藝的最高境界，即使是名技術純熟的工匠，仍至少耗費十個小時才能完成。扎實的紙纖會隨著時間逐漸柔軟，設計面也考慮人體工學的舒適性，斜撐靠背結合隨性的弧形椅腳，有如溫暖的雙手托起身軀，給予療癒、放鬆的休憩狀態。

Also introduced in 1950, the CH25 Lounge Chair stands out for its minimalist, refined lines, making it a collector's favorite. Its intricate weaving technique uses over 400 meters of natural paper cord, meticulously woven by hand in a crisscross pattern. Even for a skilled craftsman, the process takes at least 10 hours to complete. Over time, the paper cord softens, while the ergonomic design ensures comfort, with its slanted backrest and relaxed curved legs embracing the body like warm hands, offering a soothing retreat.

The KK96620 Faaborg Chair, designed by the father of Danish modern furniture, Kaare Klint, was introduced in 1914 for the Faaborg Museum on the Danish island of Funen. Its elegant, refined classical form combines a rattan backrest with contrasting seat materials, making it a sought-after collectible. Klint, with a background in architectural design, incorporated architectural elements into the chair’s design, creating refined proportions.
