Q. As a young interdisciplinary practice, how does Mesura attract talent from diverse backgrounds, and what sets the studio apart within Spain’s architectural landscape?

A. Mesura 的工作流程一種基於跨學科思維的方法論，我們因共同價值觀和信念而團結，試圖探尋各領域間的聯繫，從而聯手將創意化為現實。對團隊而言，每個項目都是場持續性的實驗，過程與最終成果同等重要，討論會以提出問題為起點，最終導向創新解決方案的發掘。因此，工作室內充滿好奇心強、敏銳且敢於發問的專業人士，其強大的作品集、清晰思維以及獨立又合作的工作能力為團員須具備的重要條件。透過讓各種想法和觀點相互交融，並進行集體測試，幫助我們打造一種超建築、設計和文化傳統界線的實踐。足智多謀且勇於嘗試的態度可說是 MESURA 的優勢，不僅是合夥人，就連整個團隊都著重傾聽、脈絡和連貫性的方法，而非強加固定風格。我們不以預設美學來定義自己。相反地，每個專案都是因應當地條件、目的以及對話所產生。

A. Our workflow is rooted in an interdisciplinary mindset. We are united by shared values and beliefs, and by a desire to explore connections across disciplines so that ideas can be brought together and turned into reality. For us, every project stays open-ended. The process matters as much as the final result. Discussions often begin with questions rather than answers, and they gradually lead toward new solutions. We look for people who are curious, perceptive, and unafraid to question things. A strong portfolio, clear thinking, and the ability to work independently while collaborating with others are essential. By letting different ideas and perspectives intersect, and by testing them collectively, we aim to build a practice that moves beyond the conventional boundaries of architecture, design, and cultural tradition. Resourcefulness and a willingness to experiment are among Mesura’s strengths. Across the studio, we prioritise listening, context, and coherence rather than imposing a predetermined style. We do not define ourselves through a fixed aesthetic. Instead, each project emerges from its local conditions, its purpose, and the dialogue that shapes it.
