Sunday by the Sea

這個坐落亞灣區水岸旁，能俯瞰海景的家屋，是主人家週末放鬆聚會的所在。因此，尋常生活瑣碎規則的收整，不在設計考量範圍，反而能跳脫制式化思考的靈光，在這個講求輕鬆愜意的空間中，得以安放。

This home, situated in the Kaohsiung Asia New Bay Area with a commanding view of the sea, serves as a weekend retreat for the owner to relax and gather with friends. As a result, the usual constraints of daily life were not a design concern. Instead, the freedom to break away from conventional thinking was embraced, allowing for a relaxed and easygoing space.

迎海面大面積的開窗，展臂接迎美麗的港口海景，以及明朗清透的光線。公共區域也大方敞開，客廳與餐廳沒有任何阻隔，甚至從公共區域到主臥房、主臥室到面海的浴室，也僅以透明玻璃門區分機能，無論光線或視線都穿透無阻。

The large windows facing the sea welcome the stunning harbor views and the bright, clear light. The public areas are also open and unrestrained, with the living and dining rooms flowing seamlessly into each other. Even the transition from the public areas to the master bedroom, and from the master bedroom to the seaside bathroom, is merely marked by transparent glass doors, allowing light and views to pass through unobstructed.

設計師在空間中大量使用米沙色塗料。細看塗料無有繁複紋理，卻能以細緻不喧嘩的質地和溫潤色調，輕巧打造出舒適生活的基底，加上地面相近色調的木地板，為這個開闊空間打造出沙灘一般的自然基調。

The designer made extensive use of beige sand-colored special coatings throughout the space. Upon closer inspection, the coatings lack complex textures, yet their fine, understated quality and warm tones gently form the foundation for a comfortable living environment.

穿透空間一致的色調，無論從客廳望向主臥室，或回望，都能召喚戶外沙灘那樣綿延不絕、天空海闊的廣袤舒朗。如此意象貫穿整戶，讓灰色電視矮櫃、石紋中島櫃體，都宛如沙灘上沈默的岩石一般自然。而窗外的海景恍如與室內沙灘融為一體，似乎一傾耳，海聲便要倒灌進來。

The cohesive space and consistent color palette create a continuous flow, so whether looking from the living room to the master bedroom or vice versa, the expansive, boundless feel of the beach and open sky is ever-present. This imagery permeates the entire home, with the gray TV console and stone-patterned kitchen island standing like silent rocks on a beach. The seascape outside the window seems to merge with the indoor “beach,” as if, by leaning in, you might hear the sound of the waves rushing in.

傾耳沒有浪襲，但在屋內雙眼卻能望見水波。設計師為屋主挑選一盞亮面玻璃壁燈，當它安處於玄關，就是這綿延沙灘上的一窪清池，與窗外的海相互對話。而當它點亮，溫暖勻亮的光暈，更如漣漪般為到訪者蕩漾展開，讓人一進屋就記得這是一處屬於星期天的海灘。

While no waves are crashing, the eye catches a glimpse of water inside the home. The designer selected a glossy glass wall lamp for the homeowner; when placed in the foyer, it becomes a clear pool on this endless beach, echoing the sea outside. When lit, its warm, even glow spreads like ripples, welcoming visitors and reminding them that this is a Sunday beach retreat.

若能看見光的獨舞，必然是因為他者的靜默。設計師與屋主擁有共同默契，認為居家照明以放鬆休息為原則，無須過度敞亮，於是室內燈源不多，讓屋主能適度運用間接照明或其他輔助光源，隨著生活的不同心情，讓空間的光能相互應和。

The designer and homeowner share a mutual understanding that home lighting should prioritize relaxation, not excessive brightness. Therefore, the interior lighting is minimal, allowing the homeowner to adjust the indirect or supplementary lighting according to their mood, enabling the light to resonate harmoniously within the space.
