月夜之下，赴約的客人，途經幽暗靜謐的街弄，施施來到日本友人家中作客——隱作設計構思的「月下」，即希望來者得以如此心境，在轉角乍現的亮光下，走進這家無菜單日式鐵板燒餐廳。

Under the moonlit night, guests who have accepted the invitation traverse through quiet, dimly lit alleys, gracefully arriving at a place as welcoming as a Japanese friend's home. This is the 'Under the Moon' concept envisioned by BH Interior Design, aiming to evoke such a mood for visitors. Upon turning a corner and catching a glimpse of a soft glow, they step into this no-menu Japanese teppanyaki restaurant.

設計師首先捨棄原先的敞大開口，將入口移至轉角處，除了使得兩側行人路過此處時，皆能有偶遇的驚喜外，有道是大隱於市，更改後宛如住屋大門的尺度，讓高雅的隱逸與寧靜，能以恰到好處的姿態，安放在都市繁華之中。

The designer first abandoned the original wide-open entrance, shifting it to the corner. This not only offers a delightful surprise to pedestrians passing by on both sides but also epitomizes the idiom 'hidden in plain sight.' The redesigned entrance, evocative of a household doorway's proportions, seamlessly melds the sense of elegant discretion and peace into the vibrant urban backdrop.

門口白石鋪就的庭園隅景，以及入門後的吧檯與淺木牆面，展露了日屋氛圍，而二進門的設計，好似能好整以暇地走入大宅家院，再往更貼近主人家的居處探去。

At the entrance, white stones pave the way, offering a peek into the serene corner of the garden. Once inside, the bar counter and the pale wooden walls radiate a traditional Japanese aura. The design of the sequential entrances evokes the feeling of leisurely stepping into the courtyard of a grand mansion, enticing guests to venture deeper into spaces that resonate with the intimacy of the owner's quarters.

拉門之後，別有洞天。深暖的木紋天花板，微傾如合院屋簷，向左右淺色牆面延展了空間向度。玻璃磚牆區隔了用餐區與廁所，卻不阻斷視覺的通透延續。而樸質的混凝土紋理，從地面延伸到ㄇ字型大理石座席，再加上錯落的深色細長磚牆，都讓初來乍到的新客，以及已在此舒適無擾用餐的人們，能將目光深鎖在舞臺一般的煎臺之前。在深色質感背景之中，身著白袍的廚師，在簡約光帶下更顯閃耀，又不失於喧嘩。

Behind the sliding doors, a hidden realm unfolds. The deep warmth of the wooden ceiling, angled subtly like the eaves of a courtyard home, broadens the spatial expanse towards the pale walls on either side. Glass brick walls demarcate the dining area from the restroom, yet don't hinder the seamless visual flow. The earthy texture of raw concrete transitions from the ground up to the U-shaped marble seating. Alongside the interspersed elongated dark brick walls, these features entrance both first-time visitors and those already engrossed in their meal, focusing their attention onto the teppanyaki grill, akin to a stage. Set against a dark ambiance, the chefs in their pristine white robes stand out, glistening under the understated strip lights, presenting a radiant yet unobtrusive performance.

友人擺席，重要的當不僅止於飲食，其體貼親近，更體現在空間細節。金邊飾件、大理石桌面，乃至指引盥洗室所在的端景牆面，以低調的優雅華貴，彰顯慎重的待客心意。而屋簷意象、混凝土紋理、玻璃牆磚、細長牆磚、煎臺後吧檯的藤編，以及座椅配色等，在在以臺灣民初四合院元素，召回了客人的童年回憶，使人感覺作客猶如歸家，溫暖又親切。

When a friend sets a table, it's not merely about food and drink; the affection and intimacy shine through every detail of the space. From the gold-accented fixtures and marble tabletops to the distinguished wall directing guests to the restroom, there's a muted elegance that underlines the host's earnest intent to welcome. Elements like the silhouette of eaves, raw concrete textures, glass brick walls, slender wall tiles, the rattan detailing behind the teppanyaki counter, and the harmonious chair color schemes all resonate with motifs from early Taiwanese courtyard homes, invoking nostalgic memories of childhood. These thoughtful touches make guests feel they aren't just visiting; they're coming home, embraced by warmth and fondness.

如此有精緻酒食，也有知心好友在簷下歡談共聚的夜晚，抬頭仰看，當有月相伴。設計師在後區懸掛一盞巨大燈籠，如輪光潔皎月，於是來到「月下」，走到哪兒都能見一抹清輝。縱然別宴之後，歡笑消散，那月明星稀的須臾光景，都將刻成亙久記憶。

On evenings graced with exquisite food and wine, when cherished friends gather for heartwarming conversations under the eaves, one naturally looks up, yearning for the moon's company. The designer has placed a large lantern in the rear area, radiating the luminance reminiscent of a pristine full moon. As such, upon entering "Under the Moon," a soft glow is noticeable wherever one goes. Even when the banquet concludes and the joy recedes, the enchanting moments under the sparse stars and luminous moon will forever remain in one's memories.
