Castle with View
當設計者見到從落地窗撒落的敞朗日光，以及窗外大片的綠意景致，往往不禁意欲召喚自然入內，為家屋捎來天地自然的活潑生氣。然而，貳月設計在「眺望的城堡」這件作品中，卻不依循常規思考，僅捕捉初見窗外望去一瞬帶來的靜謐，將空間作為城堡，一處能觀覽蓊鬱綠意地那般舒心，靜靜地與其相望。
When designers encounter daylight streaming through floor-to-ceiling windows and the lush greenery outside, they are often inclined to invite nature indoors, imbuing the home with vitality. However, in Castle with View, Februa Design takes a different approach. Rather than following convention, they focus on capturing the serenity of that fleeting first glance toward the outdoors, shaping the space as a castle—a refuge where one can gaze comfortably at the verdant landscape, engaging in a quiet, harmonious dialogue with nature.
進入這育有稚兒的家屋，運用略帶沉穩奶咖色溫的牆面，與空間中橡木色地板、家具的相和，在那間接照明的柔光下，宛如溫暖的擁抱一般，迎來了無比適意的安然。屋內自成一格的恬淡沉靜，與那明朗日光和窗外綠意，形成一道曖昧的分野，屋裡的人像是住在堡壘那般安全無虞，能在居所裡怡然、隨性地望向窗外自由眺望，於是方有不驚擾人，也不受驚擾的自在餘裕。
This family home, designed for parents with young children, features latte-toned walls that complement oak flooring and furnishings. Soft, indirect lighting enhances the interior, enveloping it like a warm embrace and evoking an unparalleled sense of peace. Within the home, a calm and self-contained atmosphere emerges, forming a subtle yet fluid boundary with the bright daylight and lush greenery outside. This gentle demarcation allows the residents to experience their home as a protective haven—like a fortress—where they can live comfortably, gazing freely outside without disturbance, enjoying a rare state of undisturbed tranquility and freedom.
猶如堡壘那樣安穩寧靜的家屋，還有一處精心設計的眺望台。設計師打通了原有封閉的和室，除了使公領域變得開闊通透，更進一步將原有範圍以抬高形式鋪設榻榻米，不定義其空間功能，任憑心緒形塑一隅自在坐臥的一方天地，成了這座城堡更貼近戶外自然的所在，在這機能隨心的空間邊界，使人能隔著玻璃俯瞰環境的模樣，觀察自然萬物的變化，探索未知。
The home also includes a thoughtfully designed observation platform. The designer opened up a formerly enclosed Japanese-style room, creating a more spacious and connected communal area. A raised platform, layered with tatami mats, is left intentionally undefined, allowing it to evolve based on the residents’ needs. This adaptable corner serves as a retreat for sitting or lying freely, drawing the essence of the home closer to the natural world. With flexible spatial boundaries, the residents can observe the environment through glass, witnessing subtle changes in nature and embracing the unknown.
若將視線轉向內部，有界地切換家屋的私密場域。設計師在這無定義的自由角落，使用香杉作為天花板材，那淡雅的木質氣息能讓內心沉澱下來，在微微散發草香氣味的榻榻米中央，置入一張可升降的茶几，使人在這處冥想的方舟上，能微妙地平衡內在，打開心靈的無限宇宙。於是在這個角落，閒聊有時，閱讀有時，工作有時，午寐亦有時，生活中任何事物的發生，都顯得那樣理所當然。
Turning the gaze inward reveals the home’s bounded, private spaces. In this carefully defined corner, the designer uses Chinese fir for the ceiling, infusing the area with a subtle wooden fragrance that naturally soothes the mind. At the center of tatami mats, which exude a faint grassy scent, rests a height-adjustable tea table. This peaceful space becomes a meditative retreat, where one can restore inner balance and quietly explore the mind’s limitless possibilities. Here, moments unfold effortlessly—whether chatting, reading, working, or napping, every activity flows naturally, as if it belongs precisely where it occurs.
香杉的療癒氣息，也在洗浴時縈繞其間。每一回的洗沐，氤氳的熱氣，總是能喚醒森林裡的寧靜感受，讓人在香氣的撫慰下，釋放高壓工作的壓力和生活上的任何磕碰不快，並且走入更深的平靜，迎向美好的夜晚。
The soothing scent of Chinese fir also lingers during bathing rituals. Each bath, enveloped in gentle steam, recalls the tranquility of a forest, releasing the weight of daily stress and life’s small frustrations. Wrapped in this fragrant warmth, one is drawn into a deeper state of calm, ready to embrace the peaceful night ahead.
於是，進到臥室，方能細細品味那看似與公領域色調相近的牆面，其實是隱現稻桿質地的特殊塗料。也唯有在此刻，得以捕捉到這片空間的自然質樸，感覺其正以安靜平和、不張揚的豐美本質，滋養生活裡的安然與自信，構築平凡而深刻的日常。可以想見，在次日醒來，見到晨光灑滿城堡的每處之時，將有更多的滿足與安然，充盈在空間之中。
In the bedroom, subtle nuances reveal themselves. While the walls may seem to mirror the palette of the communal spaces, they are finished with a texture reminiscent of rice straw. It is in these quiet moments that the space’s understated beauty becomes apparent, nurturing a sense of inner peace and confidence. This quiet richness enhances the simplicity of everyday life. One can imagine waking the next morning to sunlight spilling into every corner of the home, filling the space with a deep sense of fulfillment and serenity.
