Yang Residence
對許多家庭而言，「家」需要承擔不同年齡成員的需求，抑或跟上生命成長的腳步，甚至接納成員組成的改變，成為最具包容性的空間。Yang Residence 現階段是三口之家的度假宅，不久的未來則彈性作為孝親宅空間。對於設計者而言，如何滿足上述大跨距的需求變化，是最重要的挑戰。樂齡居家需求是一種功能取向，而非將年齡視為侷限設計的框架。設計者以適居性定調設計，以兼容性思考使用需求，創造以服務家庭生活為初衷的住所。
For many families, a home must be a sanctuary that evolves with the needs of its members across life stages, accommodating change with quiet grace. Currently, Yang Residence serves as a serene retreat for a family of three, with the flexibility to later transition into an elder-friendly home. The challenge for the designers lay in creating a space that embodies this fluidity, balancing functionality with a timeless elegance. Here, the concept of age-friendly design transcends age itself, focusing instead on adaptability and harmony with the family’s rhythm of life.
Yang Residence 簡約而純粹，猶如從一個實心體原型，以空間需求為形塑力，逐漸向外拉伸、推擠、延展出各種空間場域，凹凸界面鑲嵌構成整體平衡。藉由俐落大方的量體切割方式修飾梁位，形成典雅穩重的框景效果；柱位與櫃體的巧妙結合，營造出厚實牆體的視覺感受，也鋪陳出過道開口在空間領域轉換的儀式感。量體推拉的原理也運用在收納及展示空間上，並善用色彩前進與後退、光線反射與陰影投射的視覺效果，白色與米白色不同光澤度的面漆質感，呈現更多層次細節，搭配淺色、灰色及胡桃木色系傢俱，在清新自然的基調上，展現節奏變化的趣味。
Yang Residence’s form is simple yet profound, as if a solid core has been carefully sculpted outward, each space emerging organically to meet diverse needs. The delicate play of recessed and protruding surfaces creates a subtle equilibrium. The structural beams, elegantly framed, evoke a sense of groundedness, while the integrated columns and cabinetry impart a layered solidity, transforming corridors into ritualistic passageways between spaces. This push-and-pull principle also extends to storage and display areas, where deft use of color gradations and reflected light enhances the depth and nuance of each surface. Layers of white and cream finishes lend texture, while soft hues of gray and walnut infuse the home with a soothing cadence that invites quiet reflection.
為因應未來樂齡居家需求，過道開口、走道寬度、衛浴等設想預留使用輔具彈性，衛浴水區則加裝扶手兼顧安全功能。主臥室採二進式規劃，大型開口、橫拉門、摺疊桌最大程度配合輔具使用的便利；第一進現為工作室及更衣間使用，未來則可隨時成為照護者（看護）休息空間。基於避免傳統主臥床尾面沖衛浴門的不完美，設計者摒除標準門片規格，將拉門轉化成巨幅落地畫作，床頭往前推 30 公分避免壓梁，巧妙化解中國習俗的禁忌；萊姆石（米色大理石）飾面搭配光源投射，在一致的用色邏輯達到材質變化，更為主臥增添幾分雅趣。
Anticipating the evolving requirements of elder-friendly living, the designers widened corridor entrances, considered ample clearance for mobility aids, and incorporated handrails in wet areas for additional safety. In the master bedroom, a two-stage layout with generous openings, sliding doors, and foldable furniture ensures ease of future use. The first area, currently a studio and dressing room, can readily be adapted to accommodate a caregiver. Thoughtfully addressing the traditional taboo of aligning the bed’s foot with the bathroom door, the designers transformed the door into a floor-to-ceiling art piece and shifted the bed forward by 30 centimeters to avoid overhead beams, creating a gentle and culturally mindful resolution. Beige limestone wall finishes with subtle uplighting further refine the space, harmonizing material textures within a soft, cohesive palette.
設計者體貼設想的能力展現，引領居者依循需求為空間定調，而非自囿於設計限制的綑綁，隨著經驗累積和沉澱，設計終將回歸需求和重視邏輯的本質初心不變，一脈相承不應被定義為風格的表象，而是設計脈絡的核心基底。
This residence reflects the designers’ sensitivity and vision, responding to the evolving needs of its occupants without being confined by convention. As time imbues the space with layers of lived experience, the design remains steadfast to its essence, a foundation of thoughtful logic that goes beyond surface aesthetics, embodying an enduring philosophy of empathy and adaptability.
